A Physiotherapist is a primary healthcare service professional with a significant role in health promotion and treatment of injury and disease. Physiotherapists combine their in-depth knowledge of the body and how it works with specialized hands-on clinical skills to assess, diagnose, restore, and maintain physical function.
Most Registered Physiotherapists hold at least 6 years of post-secondary education. Physiotherapists at MYAH use a one-on-one approach to care, creating a customized treatment plan while involving you in the recovery process for successful outcomes and future injury prevention.
